Markovic's stock has risen over the weekend. This season, the 6'11 Serbian big-man has played with OKK Belgrade in Serbian 1st division league. He has NBA level physical tools and coordination. He has added some kilos over the last months and he also played in a more mature way. Focus and willingness stood out. It looks like the senior experience was valuable for him. To play in the league he should turn into a face-up PF, and it seems like his development is going that way. In a couple of occasions he put the ball on the floor on the move and showed impressive coordination and feel to finish at the rim for a 6'11. At times he's still out of control with his body, and commits unforced TOs. He's not able to play the 5 position at this level.

Long and lengthy forward. Still bulking up. Needs to add lower body strength, but his jump off one foot is already good, and he moves with long and powerful strides in straight lines. Handles are not tight, but he separates from the defender on his drives. Struggles at turning directions. Has to improve his contact absorption in traffic, as well as his second jump. Shot selection can be careless in pick&roll situations, and he doesn’t embrace physicality in the post. His right-handed extension finishes are good. The outside shot is a work in progress in spot-up situations, and he can’t self-create at this point. On the defensive end, he jumps passing lanes with ease and his length makes it up for some tactical mistakes. He’s often caught in a high stance.

Long and skinny PF with narrow shoulders. Not sure what his position is. Solid athlete. Lacks some strength but tries to play hard. Not afraid of contact. Questionable shooter behind the three-point line. Okay rebounder. On defense easily gets pushed around due to his light weight.
